Cybergoal History: Roots
Roots are to trees – what experience is to JS Enterprises. History has proven that you CAN learn to ride a bobsled in Jamaica, but it’s a lot easier elsewhere. Years of working experience in communications, advertising, marketing, graphic arts, print, video, motion graphics, technology, and, of course, interactive marketing, in Manhattan, Madison Avenue, New York City, and thereabout, gives you access to the finest classrooms and teachers on the planet, in real-world situations. People in environments conducive to the evolution of professional skills are fortunate, but skills and technology work hand-in-hand, that’s why there are two sides to the JS Enterprises “pencil” logo. The left side represents experience+creativity and the right side represents the evolution of technology
JS Enterprises was founded in 1985, and began emphasizing electronic media in the early 1990s, long before the first book on HTML was published. We were asked to appear at numerous seminars on utilizing the Web as a new and exciting advertising and publishing media. We were ridiculed more than once for introducing the first animated graphics on the Web, but politely replied, “Maybe one day everyone will use animations on the Web…” Shortly thereafter Microsoft Corporation paid us to use several of our Web-based animations in their TV ads touting the Web as tomorrow’s communication media. Disney used our services to promote their movies. Sumner Redstone, founder of Viacom, contacted our founder, John Salerno, to share thoughts on the potential for all of this new cyber-territory for entertainment.
Cybergoal Corporation never forget our roots in creative thinking. Hence the well worn pencil on one side of our logo. The other end of that pencil represents technology and thus changes before our eyes. A serial plug, a firewire plug, maybe a hop through a sparkly vortex – whatever the future brings. This blend is what makes us unique. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and, as a team. We’d love to help you achieve YOUR Cybergoals!
